The Xiaomi 14 Ultra surfaced in the BIS database with the model number 24030PN60G. While the list doesn’t reveal any specific features of the smartphone, it indicates that the launch is imminent.
According to the latest reports shared by GSMChina, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will come with an under-display selfie camera. It’s worth noting that the Ultra series has not featured this option until now. According to the source, the Chinese brand will stick to the standard punch-hole design and offer the phone in two versions – one with an under-display selfie camera and the other with a standard one.
The 14 Ultra model will include a single-point ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. The technology developed by the Chinese company is said to be more precise and secure than the optical fingerprint reader used in current flagship models.
The smartphone will feature a 1-inch Sony LYT900 main camera. This sensor will appear as an optimized version of the IMX9898 found in Xiaomi 13 Ultra, Xiaomi 12S Ultra, and Xiaomi 13 Pro.
As seen in previous Ultra models, the 1-inch camera trend will continue in the 14 Ultra. Additionally, the main camera will be accompanied by three auxiliary sensors with a resolution of 50 megapixels each. Furthermore, the device is expected to house a 5,500 mAh battery.
The 14 Ultra will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Qualcomm continues its collaboration with TSMC for the new processor. The 4 nm technology-based processor will feature 1 ARM Cortex-X4 core at 3.3 GHz, 3 ARM Cortex-A720 cores at 3.2 GHz, 2 ARM Cortex-A720 cores at 3.0 GHz, and 2 ARM Cortex-A520 cores at 2.3 GHz. The new chip also includes the Adreno 750 graphics unit with Ray Tracing support. Finally, according to rumors, the device is expected to be unveiled in April 2024.
